Anantara Spa

With an emphasis on physical and mental well-being (rather than pampering
alone), Anantara Spa aims to care for the body in a holistic manner. As
well as Ayurvedic refreshments, they will soon be launching ashtanga yoga
sessions on the private outdoor yoga deck. Upon entering the spa, the
feeling of serenity and calm envelopes you, pervading all aspects of its
decor: slate floors, block colors on the walls and simple floral
arrangements peppered throughout the luxurious yet simple furnishings.
The spa was designed to mirror the simple surroundings of the resort.
There are 15 treatment rooms, ranging from single suites to double rooms,
all with their own private showering rooms and changing facilities.
Massages start from RMB 480/60mins and facials are available from RMB
520. However, if you're making the trek all the way out from town, it's
worth checking in for a package. Their signature treatment, "Culture of
Anantara", incorporates a body polish, massage and floral bath. At RMB
1,380 it's at the higher end of the spectrum, but for 2.5 hours of
unadulterated luxury, it's more than worth it. Lengthier packages (4 and
5.5 hours) are also available.
